Client notice regarding children in the salon

You know we love babies and children, but I have to say that we are not insured to be looking after them for you.

The salon is not a safe environment for them as we leave our door open and not to mention the products that could harm a small child.

It really is not fair on you, our other clients or the beauty therapist to bring a child to the salon that can not self soothe or be old enough to sit quietly and not need you in any way.

Please think whether you child can sit long enough for them not to need you and under no circumstance bring a child with you when having any eye treatments or treatments over 30 mins.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you understand that this is for yours and your child’s safety and others comfort and peace of mind.

Refund Policy

Please note that we do not offer refunds on any treatment or product purchases., however, if you change your mind about your purchase within 14 days, we are happy to exchange it for another treatment or product or offer you a credit note depending on the circumstances.

Patch testing policy

A patch test is required before every eye or brow treatment. You can pop in any time for this with no appointment needed. On the day of your treatment you will be asked to sign to confirm that you have had your patch test.

Cancellation and Late Arrival Policies

We know everyone has busy lives and sometimes circumstances beyond your control may mean you have to cancel your appointment or are unable to get to your appointment on time.

We’ll be as flexible as we can in accommodating this, however, the following policies apply;

Cancellation – 24 hours’ notice please.
If you need to cancel your appointment, please just let us know as soon as possible before hand, but at least 24 hours before your appointment. If you fail to make your appointment without letting us know we will request a deposit of 50% for future appointments.

Late arrival? We may not be able to do your treatment.
Arrival more than a few minutes late for your appointment means we cannot spend the time we need to give you a proper service, we will do our utmost to accommodate clients, but we may not be able to do your treatment.

How long is a few minutes?
For a 30 minute appointment eg. express mani/pedi a couple of minutes is ok, but 10 minutes is a third of the appointment and it’s not really feasible to complete the appointment.

For a 45 minute and longer appointments eg. shellac reapply or spa pedicure we have a little more flexibility, but not much, so please try to be on time

We know these policies may be frustrating for clients who have to cancel at short notice for genuine reasons or who arrive late through no fault of their own, but we also have a duty to our other clients to keep to their appointment times.

Our Beauty therapists run busy columns and a late cancellation or no show for an appointment means someone else may miss out. We will happily rebook a new appointment for you as soon as possible.

Deposits

A deposit may be taken for longer appointments or if you have not show for your previous treatment – these are non refundable.
