Meet the Team
Lynda – Salon Owner / Senior Therapist
Lynda has been a Beauty therapist for over 20 years.
She has owned Beauty since 2014, not only does she manage the salon she is also very much hands on therapist. She specialises in Hd brows, aesthetic facials and intimate waxing.
In her family life Lynda is out numbered by men and football so sees the salon and her girls as her girly family time!
Jaz – Senior Therapist
Jaz has been working at Beauty for 5 years.
Jaz has been with Beauty pretty much from the beginning and Beauty and Jaz have both grown their beauty career together.
She specialises in Hd brows, henna brows and everything nails!
Out of the salon Jaz loves woodland walking her 3 dogs and drinking lots of tea and can do the funniest impressions!
Sinead – Senior Therapist
Fresh out of school, I started my training in the beauty world.
The last years have flown by and I have been amazed at the skills and expertise I have gained in variety of areas. My specialities are HD brows, eyelashes, hard nail extensions and massage.
Since joining Beauty in may 2016, I have only developed my skills and experiences further, making it my mission to have a happy, relaxed and even more beautiful customer leave my hands at the salon.
Fun fact about me, I have a slight obsession with mugs, pugs and broccoli…but shhh don’t tell anyone.
Sarah – Senior Therapist
My beauty journey started in 2015 when I did my full time level 2 beauty course at Bournemouth and Poole college.
I wanted to be more hands on in the industry so that’s when I started work experience, I enjoyed it so much I got offered an apprenticeship and the rest is history.
3 years gone and I am now a senior therapist at Beauty, with not only my basic beauty qualification but also qualifications in specialised and advanced treatments. My specialties are lash extensions, nails and massage. If you want to have right out natter and gossip then I’m the girl you need.
Fun fact: I’m a vegetarian! (Except from Christmas Day because who can resist pigs in blankets!)
Josie – Senior Nail Tech
I qualified in my level 2&3 Beauty therapy course back in 2012, but since joining beauty nearly 2 years ago my treatments have advanced and expanded further.
I have learnt so much as to what this industry has to offer and I am so intrigued and eager to learn more. I would say my best treatments to do are nails and massage, but since completing my HD brows training in January 2019, I think I have a new favourite!
Karen – Beauty Therapist / Salon Mum
I have been in the beauty industry for about 14 years.
I joined Beauty in July 2018 and am the oldest member of the team, constantly learning from the younger girls!
I love all aspects of beauty but particularly enjoy nails, lashes and waxing.
I have 4 children who have now grown up, but I realise from have been a busy working mum just how important time out is for our own wellbeing. With this knowledge I endeavour to ensure that every visit you have at Beauty is relaxing and unrushed and you leave the salon feeling that you have had the best experience.
I have recently come to terms with my infatuation with cleaning and bleach, so if you ever visit the salon being overwhelmed with the smell of bleach you will know I am close by!
Beth – Beauty Therapist
I have been in the Beauty industry for over 15 years after studying my apprenticeship at Bournemouth College.
I had my own salon for 10 years but after having two small babies close together I have moved my venture to working at Beauty! I treat coming to work more like a break from being ‘Mum’ and some adult conversation!
I’m constantly learning new skills so far since joining and particularly enjoy doing nails, although my favourite part about being a therapist is getting to know my clients and having a good chat!
My real name is Sarah but at the salon I am ‘Beth’ as there is already another Sarah – I like it – it’s like an alter ego!
Kayleigh – Beauty Therapist
After taking a break from the beauty industry and starting a young family, I decided to refresh my training and get back into the business in 2017.
My initial role was working as a Spa Therapist where I realised my real passion was carrying out beauty treatments and I decided I wanted to work in a busy, vibrant and friendly beauty salon. I joined Beauty in July 2019 and although I juggle my work with looking after two toddlers, I now look forward to my shifts, working as part of a fun professional team, always looking to learn new techniques and making our customers look and feel fabulous.
Leah – Trainee Therapist
Leah is Beauty’s ‘new’ trainee beauty therapist.
She started as our Saturday girl, making sure things ran smoothly by looking after our clients and therapists. Leah has since started at beauty college, hence becoming our trainee therapist.
This was my third visit and I am very impressed. Excellent and friendly pampering time. All the ladies are lovely.
Thank you to Brook today sorting my hands and toes. Excellent.
